The Edna Wilde Scholarship was set up by Ryde City Council to mark the contribution made by its hardworking and long serving councillor, Edna Wilde, on the occasion of her retiring from council. In accordance with Edna's wishes this award is spread across all disciplines.
Edna Wilde Instrumental Award
A Major Cash Award will be made to the most outstanding performer chosen from top Instrumental soloists in the various instrumental sections - piano, strings, woodwind/brass, percussion. The award will be made as part of the Piano Finals Evening
NOTE: The recipient of the Edna Wilde Instrumental Award is not eligible for the instrumental award until a period of two years elapsed.
