In the General Information Section you may view general items of interest about the eisteddfod as well as download items such as the current syllabus.
When the Online Entry Section is Available (Dec to April) you may search for specific keywords, choose a discipline (Vocal,Instrumental,Dance,Speech,Seniors) or choose from a range of event groupings.
You may make an online entry without becoming a registered user but it is more convenient to choose a username and password which can be used on subsequent entries without reentering all of the details.
Online Entry requires a valid (and unique) email address - to which all invoices, notifications, payment requests etc. will be sent. If you do not have one you may request the eisteddfod to supply you with a temporary email account. Paper entries will be accepted - but anyone making a paper entry MUST be a registered user, either with their own or an eisteddfod-supplied email account.

Information about Specific Disciplines - Vocal/Instrumental/Speech/Dance/Seniors etc.
Online Entries are our preferred method of collecting the necessary information about competitors to ensure this year's eisteddfod will run smoothly and give valuable experience to everyone taking part.
As soon as you select ONLINE SYLLABUS AND ENTRY you will be offered various "categories" or "disciplines" - the major ones being Vocal (& Choral), Instrumental (including piano, strings, winds etc.), Dance (inc ballet, jazz, hip hop etc.) and Speech (& Drama) as well as the special category for those aged 50 or over (Seniors). From the main category you may choose sub-categories to enable you to more easily see what events are available for you.
As you select the events, there is extra information you may need - such as set works, halls, etc. have a look at the list of articles relating to this.
All of the Disciplines have featured events, with significant prizes donated by generous sponsors. In some cases they are overall awards based on performances in other events but in other cases they are special events dedicated to the scholarship itself. Entrants should read the specific conditions which apply to eligibility for any particular scholarship.
For the current list of scholarships/awards in the various disciplines see attached document
